Kashima Antlers Triumphant Win!
The Carswell Gould sponsored football team, Kashima Antlers, has had a triumphant victory against their rivals ‘The Players’. The team, who in the past have had as much success as a one legged man in a butt kicking contest, won 5-1 in last weeks game, with three stunning goals coming from ‘Sunny Delight’, ‘Big Balls Miller’ scoring one and Mcinnes finishing off nicely with a scorching shot into the back of the net. This momentous result marks the first win in over two seasons.
The team, who share many skills, the majority not relating to the pitch, have been put through their paces this season with near wins, close shaves and own goals. With last week’s win, a new more positive attitude and a decent shooter, it won’t be long before they get back to division one.
The team whose ball skills start and finish in the changing room, have really surpassed expectations and have gobsmacked those who follow them. The golden Antlers long awaited win is one that the team and their supporters will cherish for years to come, and will be a story to tell the grandchildren when they’re old and grey.
